The village of Baltonsborough [pop. around 1000] lies some 4 miles South East of Glastonbury, is bounded on the South West by the River Brue and has splendid views towards the Tor and the Mendip Hills.
At its centre, the village is served by a shop, public house and village hall. The nearest post office is in the neighbouring village of Butleigh.
Surrounding the village are several farms, mostly
concentrating on dairy farming.
