The village of Baltonsborough [pop. around 1000] lies some 4 miles South East of Glastonbury, is bounded on the South West by the River Brue and has splendid views towards the Tor and the Mendip Hills.

At its centre,  the village is served by the post office shop, public house and village hall.  Surrounding the village are farms mostly  concentrating on dairy farming.
